What actually holds the door up
The spring does the lifting. The opener only steers.
A double door weighs more than most people expect, and a torsion spring carries all of it. That is why a snapped spring strands the door and why it is not a job to try with a screwdriver and a ladder. We carry the bars, the cable and the right spring for the weight.

The spring in my garage door broke on a Wednesday around 1:30 PM. I called Dave and he had it fixed by 10:00 AM the next morning. He picked up on the second ring, when I called, asked me to send him some pictures of a couple things that night when I got home. I got home late and send him pictures around 8:30PM. Replied almost instantly, even at the late hour. Said he would come by in the morning, called the next morning right when he said would and had it fixed within a couple hours. Prompt service and excellent and timely communication. Would recommend him to anyone on the plateau or anywhere for that matter who needs help with a garage door.

My garage door came off the tracks and was dangling on one side. I called Dave and not only did he happen to be up the road but was at my house within 5 minutes and him and Robert fixed what was needed and necessary for today. Very thankful I called Dave first and won't hesitate to again!!! They were awesome, friendly and professional and were priced fairly for what was done, if anything, I was relieved with the cost. It's now fixed and running better than before

A bay that will not open is not a maintenance item. It is a closed business.
We install and repair sectional steel, roll up and coiling and high speed overhead doors, and we look after the dock equipment around them. Sites that cannot afford a door going down can put the whole lot on a maintenance programme.

Yes. If our price does not already beat an estimate you are holding, we will meet it. Bring the written quote when you call.
No. A torsion spring holds the weight of the whole door under tension, and releasing it without the right bars is how people get badly hurt. Call it in and leave the door closed until we get there.
All of our labour carries a one year warranty. Doors and parts also carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which varies by product.
We install Amarr, Hormann, Wayne Dalton and Clopay doors, and we service LiftMaster and Genie openers. Replacement parts are available for all makes and models, not only the brands we sell.

The shop is on SE 354th Street. Most of the work is inside a short radius of it, which is why an emergency call so often turns into the same afternoon rather than the middle of next week.
